Merry Christmas!

I’d just like to take this opportunity to wish everyone who is reading a very merry Christmas 🙂

I hope Santa brought you everything you wanted, and do bear in mind that calories don’t count at Christmas, so you should eat a lot of cake. And turkey. Just eat all the things, ok?

One of my best presents so far – my Dad got me an Amazon Echo. It makes me look forward to getting home so that I can get it all set up properly 😀

The Christmas Decorations Post

I’ve upped my attempt at Christmas decorations from last year. I have upgraded to having an actual Christmas tree.

Granted, I need more tinsel and baubles, but I think it’s definitely a good start. I now have a serious decision to make.

Should I top this with a star or a fairy, or something else? 1st world problematic decisions are hard.

Merry Christmas Everyone!

I just wanted to wish all my readers a very Merry Christmas. And also, show off a couple of bits from my haul.

I am happy to know that my Dad acknowledges that I refuse to grow up:2015-12-25 10.11.16

Yeay, ponies!!!

And of course, the game I’ve put off playing just for Christmas:

All my presents were of course fabulous. The bloke got me a lovely necklace, my sister got me the new set of cooking pans I wanted, and I got lots of bath smellies. Another blinding present was the cheese making kit. I can’t wait to have a go of it!

To sum up – thanks to all who were so thoughtful with their gifts, and I hope everyone has a cracking day!

Oh, and hold the sprouts. Christmas should not be smelly.

My Christmas Spirit Broke Already.

I posted earlier about my rather lame attempt at Christmas Decorations.

I haven’t turned the lights on all too often – but this weekend, whilst making a sunday roast for the bloke and I, I decided to attempt some Christmas cheer in what has been an unseasonably warm December (seriously, it feels like Spring here. Far too warm).

The lights lasted 5 minutes before they died, leading the bloke to proclaim ‘Your Christmas spirit just died’.

All in all, from the time of taking a picture of them, my Christmas lights lasted approximately 15 minutes. This is what you get for buying cheap from Tesco.

I haven’t yet summoned up the desire to attempt to fix them. There are 100 bulbs on that. It probably won’t take me too long, but … meh.
